‘Magnificent Jewels’, an auction by Christie’s Hong Kong on November 25, will be led by a 3.39-carat fancy vivid blue diamond ring by Moussaieff, with an estimate of $4.5‑6.5 million, along with a 2.09-carat fancy red diamond and diamond ring, again by Moussaieff (est. $3.5‑4.8 million), and a 10.10-carat Burmese pigeon’s blood ruby brooch by Cartier (Est. $2.5‑3.8 million)
In total, the auction house will offer around 300 lots with a combined value of $80 million featuring a rainbow of colored gemstones from Kashmir sapphires to Colombian emeralds and colored diamonds.
Also of note are a unique Belle Époque 52.26-carat fancy intense yellow cushion-shaped diamond, a pair of 5.64-carat fancy intense green and 5.18-carat fancy intense yellowish green diamond earrings, as well as an exquisite natural-colored pearl, ruby, and diamond pendant necklace (Est. $2.0‑3.2 million).
