110 Carat Yellow Diamond on display in Paris!
At Seventy Seven Diamonds we’re very familiar with coloured diamonds, but not of this enormity and beauty. A 110 carat Cullinan yellow asscher cut diamond has gone on display in Paris this week at the Grand Hôtel Intercontinental in Paris.
The Cullinan yellow diamond has it’s own personal history… After being named after it’s original owner, the Asscher-cut beauty went from South Africa to join the collection of British Crown jewels in 1907 during the reign of King Edward VII. Since leaving the crown jewels collection it has been with Armenia who have kindly given it to loan for the presentation in Paris, France.
The ring itself is rose gold and it is set with hundreds of small white diamonds to compliment the beautiful yellow centre stone to enhance the intensity of the yellow gem.
