A landmark meeting for the jewelry industry took place in March 2016 in NYC where over 150 members from across the industry supply chain worked together to craft their vision of a vibrant and sustainable/responsible future for businesses, communities, and the environment.
Rather than a conference of talking heads, participants of the Jewelry Industry Summit engaged in one-on-one conversations and group discussions about their desire to build traceable and sustainable business practices across the industry. The conference ended on a high note, with a sense of hope and possibility as well as plans and commitments to action.
The second Jewelry Industry Summit is being hosted by the American Gem Trade Association and will be held the two days prior to the AGTA GemFair in Tucson, January 29 and 30, 2017.
