Following their shock wedding earlier this month, Blake Lively has been sporting a giant pink diamond engagement ring.
The beautiful rock is estimated to have cost Ryan Reynolds a cool $2 million, and the actress has also been wearing a delicate diamond band thought to be her wedding ring.
So far no photos of their wedding in South Carolina have surfaced, but the 25-year-old returned to work on Gossip Girl wearing the eye-catching wedding jewelry this week in New York.
The Green Lantern actor was reportedly keen to present his former co-star and bride-to-be with the perfect ring and so Ryan enlisted the help of jeweler Lorraine Schwartz to create a custom design for Blake.
A spokeperson for Lorraine Schwartz told the MailOnline: “Ryan chose Lorraine Schwartz to help him find a flawless, light pink oval diamond.
“They worked together to design a custom setting in rose gold and pave diamonds with a nod to deco.”
In addition the jewelers produced a co-ordinating rose-gold and diamond wedding band to match the giant 12 carat diamond sparkler.
The dazzling choice of ring is surprising as Blake and Ryan have kept a low profile ever since they started dating last year.
But following their nuptials the pair have been indulging in some uncharacteristic PDAs, and it’s clear they have the newlywed glow as they can barely keep their hands off each other.
Due to work commitments though, the former Green Lantern co-stars haven’t been able to enjoy the early days of marriage for long.
Blake has already returned to star in the last few episodes of Gossip Girl and Ryan is gearing up to film Big Eyes alongside Reese Witherspoon.
A few details of their wedding have been released, and it’s thought that the bride wore a Marchesa dress to wed the 36-year-old in a secret ceremony in front of just 60 of their closest friends and family.
A insider revealed to People magazine that the wedding celebrations included a retro-carnival themed cocktail hour and popcorn served in paper bags with their initials.
The source added: “They're a fun couple who wanted to inject that into their wedding.”
